Dr. Lauren Freid is a board certified rheumatologist who practices in Burbank. Her clinical interests include inflammatory and osteoarthritis, connective tissue disease, metabolic bone disease and general rheumatology. Dr. Freid received her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. She then completed her internal medicine residency at Temple University Hospital, followed by her rheumatology fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where she researched physical activity and exercise patterns in people with inflammatory arthritis. She completed her undergraduate studies at Harvard College. Dr. Freid is also certified yoga instructor who has completed Level 1 Yoga for Arthritis training at the Integral Yoga Institute in New York. In her free time, she enjoys surfing, tennis and yoga. |
