Associate Chief of Clinical Pediatric Neurology Director, Pediatric Neurophysiology Lab Director, Adolescent Epilepsy Center at UCLA "As many of you already know, my wife Kelli has had epilepsy since childhood. The idea for the Adolescent Epilepsy Center at UCLA developed from the stories and struggles I have seen and heard from Kelli, my many patients, their families and others with epilepsy I have met throughout my career. Most of my training was on the East Coast. I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from The College of New Jersey, my MD from Rutgers Medical School and completed a Pediatrics Residency at Penn State, Hershey Medical Center in Pennsylvania. I also completed a Pediatric Neurology Residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx New York as well as a Pediatric Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship at UCLA. After graduation I accepted a faculty position at UCLA and have been here ever since. During my tenure at UCLA I have had a variety of leadership positions, including: Pediatric Neurology Residency Director, Pediatric Neurophysiology Lab Director, Associate Clinical Chief of Pediatric Neurology and finally Director of the Adolescent Epilepsy Center at UCLA.
