After earning her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Scripps College and her medical degree at the University of California, Irvine College of Medicine, Dr. Ito completed a rotating internship and a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Kaiser Permanente Hospital, where she was awarded the Emil Holstrom Memorial Award. Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Ito's special interests include minimally-invasive laparoscopic surgery and robot-assisted gynecologic surgery, diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis, treatment of perimenopausal and menopausal patients, and safe and effective vaginal birth methods. Dr. Ito is fluent in both English and Japanese, and she welcomes the opportunity to provide state-of-the-art care for new patients as well as existing patients.
