Placerville KOA Journey

About You know that you've struck gold when you discover the Placerville KOA! The Placerville KOA Campground is located in the foothills between the Sacramento Valley and the gorgeous Sierra Nevada Mountains of Lake Tahoe.  It's a terrific launching pad for trips to California's Gold Country, the American River, Apple Hill, Old Town Sacramento, and Red Hawk Casino. Visit the area wineries or plentiful apple orchards with handmade crafts, pies and pastries. Relax in the refreshing pool (in-season) and hot tub, or take the free on-call shuttle to Red Hawk Casino for a delicious buffet. Sunday mornings in the summer, this KOA serves a fabulous breakfast. Join in movie nights, with free popcorn and other goodies, in support of KOA Care Camps (most Fri/Sat's). Enjoy the new arcade, giant tent with free Ping-Pong and foosball and hand-dipped ice cream. Stop by to pamper the adorable miniature goats. Enjoy the new large dog park for your four-legged buddies! Pool: May 1 - September 30. Max pull thru: 121 feet.
