Katie Hu, MD obtained her BA degrees in both Political Science and Biology from Miami University of Ohio and her MD from Washington University in St. Louis. She completed her internship and residency at UCLA Department of Family Medicine in Santa Monica, California as well as a fellowship in Integrative East West Medicine at UCLA. She is currently licensed and boarded in Family Medicine as well as Integrative Medicine. She was drawn to family medicine initially because she wanted the opportunity to care for any person, in any situation, from any walk of life. Her aspiration and philosophy has always been the care of the whole patient, both mind and body taken in context. She has since completed her fellowship in East-West Primary Care and is helping to build a patient-centered medical home at the UCLA Center for East-West Medicine. Her professional interests include herbal supplements and teaching, and her hobbies include traveling and eating delicious food. Dr. Katie Hu is currently accepting new patients as a general family practitioner/primary care physician and seeing patients with faculty in the East-West Medicine consultative practice. |
