| About | Abby was born in South Africa, completed high school and started a five year apprenticeship with some of the best jewelry craftsmen around. The first three years he apprenticed with Jordi Gil a Spaniard who was a winner of many awards such as the S.A. Jewelry designer's awards and the South African gold and diamond awards. At Jordi Gil's place, Abby was trained in the tradition of the Great European Masters of the jewelry trade. The remaining two years of his apprenticeship was under the guidance of Hines Kurts a German how was a master amongst masters. He then started Abby's designs in South Africa at the age of twenty-two. |
