At our Career Center we have a full time staff to help you find a first job, new job, or a better job. Listed below are free employment services offered to anyone that visits our career center. ---Search and apply for jobs online ---Write a resume and cover letter ---Free access to computers ---Job Interview preparation ---Hiring Paperwork prep ---Learn about upcoming hiring events. Beyond these services, Goodwill also offers two employment programs: GOODWILL ACADEMY -- offers a part-time position (upto 25 hours per week) at a Goodwill store. This initial job at Goodwill serves as a starting point within our Goodwill organization and we train you for a career in retail. There are additional hours and rapid advancement/promotions for hardworking and capable employees. Call our career center for more info. PATHWAYS -- Direct employment at Goodwill (Full-time or part-time) or job placement within our Goodwill employer network. The Goodwill Career Center staff has developed a network of local companies seeking to hire qualified candidates. By visiting our Career Center you gain access to that employer network. |
