Dr. Steven Tsai is a physician-scientist who splits his time between clinical practice in Santa Monica and Westwood and laboratory research. His clinical interests include hematologic cancers, bone marrow transplant and non-malignant hematology. He is actively involved in translational research that focuses on engineering specialized T-cells from different stem cell sources. The goal is to develop novel cellular therapies for more cancer patients. Dr. Tsai earned his MD and PhD at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. He then continued at the Keck School of Medicine for his internal medicine residency and completed his hematology oncology fellowship at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He earlier received his bachelor's degree from Yale University. |
