Luke Nicholson, MD

About Luke Nicholson, MD, is a hand and upper extremity surgeon at his practice in Beverly Hills and at the Keck Medical Center in Downtown Los Angeles, California.
Dr. Nicholson earned his Bachelor of Science from Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts, graduating cum laude. He then attended the Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, where he received his Doctor of Medicine. Afterward, he completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, California, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Nicholson then pursued his hand, upper extremity, and microvascular surgery fellowship at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. 
He is currently an assistant professor of clinical orthopedic surgery at USC. Dr. Nicholson is a candidate member of the American Society of Surgery of the Hand and the American Society for Peripheral Nerve. He has been published in many peer-reviewed publications, conducted several research studies, and given multiple oral presentations.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Nicholson has volunteered with many organizations, including Blue Mountain Project and Touching Hands Project, providing education and health care to underserved communities.
