Daniel G. Kahn, MD

About	<p>Dr. Daniel Kahn is a hospitalist physician who provides inpatient care at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and UCLA Medical Center, Santa Monica. He is board certified in internal medicine.</p>
<p>Dr. Kahn obtained his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. He then completed his internship, residency and chief residency in internal medicine at UCLA.</p>
<p>In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Kahn is the director of bedside ultrasound for the internal medicine residency, <span>where he trains residents to utilize ultrasound to augment their diagnostic skills</span>. He is also the associate director of the Global Health Pathway for the internal medicine residency.&nbsp&#x3b;He was selected by residents to receive the &ldquo&#x3b;Internal Medicine Outstanding Inpatient Teaching Award&rdquo&#x3b; in 2018-19, and was selected to receive the &ldquo&#x3b;Teaching Humanistic Care at the Bedside Award" in 2017.</p>
<p>Dr. Kahn has been working in Malawi since 2012 with a focus on tropical medicine and HIV care.</p>
