About The Practice Erik Ligans, DDS, is a skilled implant and cosmetic dentist practicing at Playa District Dental, located in the Westchester neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. For his undergraduate studies, Dr. Ligans attended the University of California Riverside, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2014. To further his education, he attended the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2018. While studying at USC, Dr. Ligans volunteered at the AYUDA Clinic, a non-profit whose mission is to provide dental care to underserved communities. He also completed a five-week externship at La Maestra Clinic's Lemon Grove location in San Diego. At Playa District Dental, Dr. Ligans and his team offer a full complement of routine dental services, including tooth extractions, dental implants, emergency dental care, and same-day service.
