| About | Florence Cappleman, MD, is board certified in family medicine. Dr. Cappleman earned her medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines, where she also completed her internship. She completed her residency at the University of Illinois Family Practice Program in Rockford. Dr. Cappleman chose a medical career because her parents dedicated their lives to public service and encouraged her to choose a helping profession. She believes in partnering with her patients so she can deliver the best possible medical care. This involves open communication, mutual respect and trust. In her spare time, Dr. Cappleman enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her family. In addition to English, she speaks fluent Tagalog and understands medical Spanish. |
