About | UCPCC was founded in 1954. Today, we serve more than 1,100 children and adults, along with their families, with a broad range of disabilities and special needs, including cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, autism, traumatic brain injuries, and other intellectual and developmental disabilities. ​Central California which include Merced, Madera, Mariposa, Fresno, Kings, Kern, and Tulare counties. We recognize our students have a wide range of desires and needs, and we ensure everyone who walks through our doors has access to and opportunities for community engagement and life-enhancing programs. Arts & Agriculture in the Community students are increasing mobility, becoming advocates and increasing their social sphere. Center for the Arts & Technology goals include learning to use adaptive technology, growing food in our garden and selling works of art. Home Adaptive Program offers one-on-one exercise programs or educated integrated programs (either in the home or at the program site). |
