That’s why we’ve made your comfort a priority and we will do everything we can to ensure that your office visit will be pleasant. This is a “guilt free” office . Dr. Pavlin is proud to be a “green” dentist. She does not use mercury, silver, lead and all those chemicals that are not good for you. Her dental practice is chartless and 100% digital. She uses digital radiographs that reduce the radiation exposure to the patient as much as possible compared to conventional x-rays. Since the majority of people’s largest fear is the needle, aside from very gentle touch, Dr. Pavlin uses an electric Novocain dispensing device proven for improved delivery of anesthetic and higher patient comfort levels. She also uses the Isolite retraction and aspiration device to safely remove toxic particles such as mercury while providing tongue retraction and illumination of the treatment area. In our office we use lasers to detect decay and intraoral cameras to help us detect fractures and broken down fillings. Infection control is of utmost importance to us, therefore we use professional instrument washers and medical grade autoclaves that kill spores, bacteria and viruses. |
